FSU Chemistry Outreach Program:

Undergraduate Liason

Although the FSU Chemistry Outreach Program is primarily run by graduate students, we are pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications from qualified UNDERGRADUATE students that wish to participate in the program.

As an undergraduate liason you gain insight into the process of developing an Outreach Program and aquire the skills to participate in or create an Outreach Program once in graduate school. Community service is an important part of a well rounded student. Participation in the program will allow you to do community service and obtain leadership skills that will let you stand out from the crowd!!

Applications may be submitted year round

Selection criteria for applicants:

    Student must be an undergraduate chemistry or biochemistry major
    Student must have completed minimum of 2 semesters of undergraduate research
    Students must have intentions to pursue graduate school in one of the disciplines of chemistry (organic, biochemistry, analytical, etc.)

A letter of recommendation should be supplied by one of the following:

    PI/ Advisor
    Graduate Students Mentor
    Chemistry Professor familiar with the student
