List Graduate Students

Biochemistry research within the Department of Chemistry is directed towards understanding the fundamental chemistry and physics of biomolecular interactions that form the foundation of life processes.

Among the diverse research interests of the Department, Structural Biochemistry - probing biochemical processes through structural visualization - is an area of decided strength. Faculty research programs investigating biomolecular structure, dynamics and interactions utilize the resources of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory as well as the X-ray Diffraction Facility located within the Institute of Molecular Biophysics.

The Biochemistry program offers students diverse research training opportunities that combine structural studies with functional probes of biochemical processes. The Biochemistry program also offers a broad selection of phenomenological and technique oriented courses. Thus, students are well prepared for a career in modern Biochemistry.
