FSU Scientist Receives Recognition as one of the 175 Faces of Chemistry by the Royal Society of Chemistry

Dr. Steve Acquah has been recognized by the Royal Society of Chemistry as one of the ‘175 Faces of Chemistry’ both past and present, who have helped to shape chemistry and science. The recognition also highlights diversity in the chemical sciences, identifying role models, champions and ambassadors for the next generation of chemists.

Steve’s work involves research into carbon nanotube based hydrogen sensors, piezoelectric and photovoltaics devices. He also serves as director of the Global Educational Outreach for Science Engineering and Technology (GEOSET) initiative.
