Michael Kasha remembered in the June 15th issue of Photochemistry and Photobiology

This month’s special issue of Photochemistry and Photobiology is dedicated to late FSU chemistry professor, Michael Kasha (1921-2013), the first Floridian elected as a National Academy of Sciences Fellow. The issue celebrates Kasha's research career and contributions to molecular photophysics and photochemistry. A number of FSU chemistry faculty and students contributed to the issue, including an introduction by Jack Saltiel, the guest editor, and research articles from Lei Zhu, Bill Cooper, Jack Saltiel, Geoff Strouse, and Igor Alabugin. The photo below was taken by his wife Lilli and selected by his family for the editorial.
