Daniel Nascimento wins the IBM-Zerner Graduate Student Award at the Sanibel Symposium

Daniel Nascimento, a fourth year graduate student in the DePrince group was awarded the IBM-Zerner Graduate Student Award at the 2017 Sanibel Symposium in St. Simons Island, GA. The Sanibel Symposium is an annual international meeting on quantum chemistry, dynamics, and chemical and biological applications organized by the Quantum Theory Project at the University of Florida. The meeting has a long history of recognizing deserving graduate students for high-quality and impactful work. Daniel’s award recognizes his recent efforts developing explicitly time-dependent coupled-cluster theory, which provides a theoretical framework for the accurate prediction of the broadband electronic spectra of molecular systems.
