QUESTION: I think I got a question correct but the system marked it wrong? ANSWER: Any time you have a question about the quiz you took, please print a copy of the completed quiz and take it to your TA. They can then investigate the problem and correct your grade if deemed necessary. QUESTION: I lost my connection to the internet half way through completing my quiz? ANSWER: There is no time limit on the quizzes. This means that as long as you have not submitted the quiz you can leave and return to complete it at a later time. If you get knocked off while taking the quiz, the system should allow you to return to complete. If for some reason the system does not let you back in, contact your TA. He/She can look at your quiz and reset it if needed. Question: The quiz for this week doesn't appear to be online but it is still days/hours before my lab section? Answer: The quizzes will be set to be removed 30 minutes prior to the start of your class. If a quiz "disappears" earlier than that, contact your TA or the instructor asap. They can reactivate the quiz. Question: There is a exclamation mark instead of a grade in my quiz grade? Answer: An exclamation mark indicates a problem with the quiz. The TA should look at these automatically, but notify them when this happens to make sure that they see the problem asap. Question:The question says it is a multiple answer question but it also has an "all of the above" type answer available, which to I mark? Answer: Any question that is marked multiple answer will have more than one correct answer. However, if the correct answer is contained in an answer that says something like "a and b" or "all of the above" then only mark that one answer in order to be correct. Question: I completed my quiz but lost my connection before I could submit it? Answer: Try to return to the quiz. The system should let you return to complete the quiz, but since it wasn't saved you may 1) get a whole new quiz or 2) get the same quiz without any answers being marked. If the system will not let you return to the quiz, contact your TA so they can reset it if necessary. Question:The system says I have used up all my attempts at the quiz but I have never actually attempted it even once? Answer: You are allowed only one attempt per quiz with the exception of the safety quiz. If you contact your TA or the Instructor, they can look at your quiz and verify that you haven't answered any of the questions and then reset the quiz for you. Question:I can't get logged on to take the quiz? Answer: Any problems with access to any part of the site are software/hardware related and must be answered by the people who run Blackboard.
