Steps on how to filter redundant email messages into a desired folder

Basically what your doing here is filtering a message that comes from a specific person or mailing list and having it automatically deposit the message into a desired folder of your choice. Use the following steps to set up the custom filter rule:

  1. Click on the plus sign next to the "Mail" link in the left hand menu.
  2. After it expands then click on the "Filters" link.
  3. In the main portion of the site click on "New Rule".
  4. The next option that appear will need to be set specific to the incoming email you wish to filter.
  5. Give the rule a name.
  6. Select how you wish to filter the message (i.e. by subject, sender, etc).
  7. Select the action to take (example: Deliver to folder)
