We also measured the first CW-ODMR spectrum with our home-built setup at room temperature on a sample that is neither NV center nor pentacene doped terphenyl!<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 June<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The visiting undergraduate student <u>Lautaro Ferreira<\/u> joined the lab. <u>Lautaro<\/u> will be working on theory<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 May<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The undergraduate student <u>Kendall Proper<\/u> joined the lab. The laser enclosure is finally built. The enclosure is completely built by our group member <u>Shuangqing<\/u>, <u>Dhruv<\/u> and <u>Ryan<\/u> over a few months. The process started with the design, purchase of 20\/80, connecting over 100 pieces together and finally installing two HEPPA filters for dust control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Brendan Emm<\/u> left the group. We wish him good luck.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 February<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We fixed the nanosecond laser in the Maglab and set up the transient CW\/Pulse EPR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 January<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our laser and OPA from the Light Conversion is installed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 December<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Dr. Shuangqing Wang<\/u> joined the lab as a postdoctoral researcher. The glovebox and the solvent system are both fully functional with the help of him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 November<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two graduate students <u>Jenna O&#8217;Neal<\/u> and <u>Brendan Emm<\/u> joined the group. The laser tables, glovebox and solvent system arrived, all graduate students and undergraduate students helped set them up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 October<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three undergraduate students <u>Ryan Magee<\/u>, <u>Jason Demetrius<\/u>\u00a0 and <u>Dhruv Tyagi<\/u> joined the group. Dhruv built three Schlenk lines for the group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 August<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mao Lab is founded.
