Miller Laboratory

Enzyme function, structure, and evolution

Research Opportunities

Graduate students interested in our research should schedule an appointment with Professor Miller to discuss ongoing projects. Students are also encouraged to visit our laboratory on the fourth floor of the Chemical Sciences Laboratory to meet current group members.

Postdoctoral candidates should send a cover letter, copies of recent reprints and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to the address below.

Undergraduate students interested in working with us should submit:
        1) A cover letter stating your goals and interests in the Miller laboratory
        2) An academic transcript that includes your GPA

Please note that space is shared with your host graduate student or postdoc, and undergraduates will not receive their own desk or hood. Funding for undergraduate research is generally not provided during the academic year, and credits are calculated as 4 hours in the laboratory = 1 credit. All undergraduates who plan to work over the summer are required to apply for summer funding through the University. Please be aware that summer funding applications are independent of the application to our lab.
