How do I find a lab to research in?
Visit https://www.chem.fsu.edu/research-opportunities/
1) Search through the faculty websites of the science department you are interested in
2) Research and read papers published by the research group
3) Email the research professor showing interest and explain what was intriguing in the papers you read
4) Show that you are enthusiastic about wanting to join a lab group by meeting the research professor/ group members
5) Do not get discouraged if one says no, try another!
