The university policy allows for application review based on unofficial transcripts for applicants not subject to our Credential Evaluation requirements*. Official transcripts will remain on your checklist as “Awaiting” until we have received them from your previous institution(s). If admitted, official transcripts are required before the end of the second week of the first academic term. Please note FSU requires credential evaluations for non-U.S. institutions. Applicants required to submit a credential evaluation must submit official transcripts to the credential evaluation provider.

Additionally, your department does reserve the right to require official documents for application review. Contact your department to determine if they have additional requirements regarding transcripts and view the updated policy regarding when evaluations with official transcript information contained within are required here.
